The structure is constituted by a historical “Campidanese house” built long ago. It is significant in this sense that called “SA DOM ‘ and Farra”. House Museum which is located in Quartu Sant’Elena. The Campidanese house is characterised by a large inner courtyard which was used for the transit of oxen and work carts.
There were normally two entrances. The main entrance (S’intràda Prinzipàli) which is constituted by the characteristic large wooden portal and the entrance of the master (s’intràda de su meri), reserved to the family of the owner who acceded to the master part of the building that was projecting on Main Street. This part of the building was characterized by a large loggia (SA Lolla) that occupied the entire interior façade of the house and from which they took light all the rooms. The second part of the building consisted of the Wine warehouse (on Magasinu de su Binu), the stables and the staff quarters. The renovation of the House Campidanese has retained the historical imprint that distinguishes its origin. The structure is well positioned in the historical part of the towns of Quartu Sant’Elena, strategically located for the connections.
